Jim has been creating and selling art for over 30 years.   He considers himself a Great Lakes regional artist and his work reflects his love of life on Lake Michigan.

 

A graduate of Duke University, Jim also has an associate degree in ​illustration from Pratt Institute, and a masters in art history.  He has studied anatomy, figure drawing and painting at the Art Students League in New York City.

 

Jim lived in Northport, Michigan for 20 years.  He currently lives in Port Washington, Wisconsin with his wife, dog and sailboat.
