Inspired by his summers spent in a small lakeside town, he began offering watercolors in 2003. Jim strives to capture and share the joy of a summer with family and friends on the lake. Jim's love of figure drawing is evident in his paintings and he is serious about his craft. His artwork transports the viewer to a place where time is suspended, the world is subdued and we remember what it felt like to be as carefree and happy as a child.
Today, Jim makes his home in Neenah, Wisconsin and Northport, Michigan with his wife and son. His work appears in private collections across the country.
